Spectacular Lunch 9

Lunch was nothing short of spectacular. We made the typical American mistake of thinking we’d pop in, grab a bite and be ready to leave in less than an hour.

This wasn’t that kind of place. We started with a glass of wine on the patio, which is about 500 feet above the water, just relaxing and watching the surf crash. We then moved in and had these remarkable fish dishes (I have no idea; EB’s was a couple of types of fish kind of folded together and grilled, mine was a white fish that was lightly browned and then “stuffed” with some type of crab filling).

This was topped off with desert which was a “sweet tray”, a number of different sweet nibblies, all of which were obviously hand done and amazing, and a Peach and tea ice cream sundae with some type of raspberry stuff thrown in for good measure. By the time we finished all that with coffees, we were ready to settle in for a nap.

Oh, and the Lunch Gods were good to us – the sun came out just as we arrived, and we had glorious views and sunshine throughout the meal. Of course, as soon as we got back in the car it started to rain again.
