Senior Status

You know that you’ve moved to adulthood -- well into it, in fact – when you use the cell phone pouch on your backpack to hold your reading glasses. They never seem to be where you need them otherwise. I think there’s a market for glasses that are reversed – they’re sunglasses with clipon readers, rather than the other way around. Too many times I need to look at a map or read something and if the sunglasses are on it’s a pain to change things around.

Our packs were a Christmas present and they’re great. They have 2 parts – one is a regular carry on, and then there’s a zip off “day pack” that’s attached to the front of that – just the right size to carry around for the day, enough pockets to divide things up and two pouches on the side intended for water bottles but which also hold the cameras just right. There’s a cell phone / eyeglass pouch on the strap that makes them accessible.
