Our second hotel is the Marriott Sydney Harbour. This is much more on scale with the Lyall that we were at in Melbourne (although there’s no television in the bathroom). We’re on the 26th floor and have views of both the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge from here. You go down to the lobby, walk a block and you’re at the train / ferry terminals.
The room is spectacular as well. Got a living room (no kitchenette, but a fridge and coffee pot). Incidentally, about coffee pots here – they’re just hot water kettles. You hook those puppies up to 240 outlets, though, and you’ve got hot water in no time flat!
